soo a quick picture to go with my findings from the memory drawer haha. i'm guessing it was a girl scout craft or something where i made the glove into my family members. useful? not really. endearing? not so much. unique? i guess we could give it that. hahaha...see for yourself
theres my dog peanut, my mom, dad, me, and little kenneth on the thumb.
moving on.
on friday i went bowling with 4 friends from school. coincidentally they all happened to be korean. (take note of this detail). so after we bowled, we decided to get some food and they wanted to go for something asian. my one friend says "ooh! i want some pho!" surprisingly.. i had actually heard of this before from people raving about it at mt. hermon, so i was excited to try. we got to the vietnamese restaurant and my friend and i decided to split one, so we asked for an extra bowl. the waiter brought it to the table and there was an extra place setting wrapped up inside, nice and ready to go. so i thought to myself "ooh, maybe the settings weren't at the table yet.." so i unwrapped them and got ready to eat.. in order to discover....
yes, folks. the waiter slipped the "outsider" in the group a fork and a spoon. LITTLE DID HE KNOW, i am well-acquianted with the chopsticks, due to my dearly beloved japanese church. so i showed him! .. not really. pretty much i just set the fork aside, used the chopsticks, and made sure to leave them lying in the bowl so he knows i used them. hahahaha. no harm done-- we just got a good laugh out of it.
today, saturday.
drove down to SD to bring the brother home. we had to bring two cars to fit stuff, so i decided to ride with my daddio. i guess this will just be a day-early fathers day tribute. because my dad is awesome
we were listening to all this classic rock (namely the beatles, lynard skynard, and don henley) and for practically every song-- my dad knew the history of it and the historical events or details of the time that inspired the writers. it was craaazy! songs i had listened to my whole life, now took on a whole new and awesome meaning. i feel so knowledgeable :)also just cool little facts and tid bits that created meaning in the songs. it was really fun. good bonding time. he also taught me how to make deposits at the bank today. yay for father-daughter time. <3
have a greaat rest of the weekend and happy father's day!!
